Hosts do not deliver meals. They take a chair at a lunch that already exists, or they visit on the guest's own device, and they treat the table like it matters. Because it does.

What a host does

- Shows up for a standing hour.

- Listens more than they talk.

- Learns names and comes back.

- Eats their own lunch. The table's food is not yours to bring.

Year 1 hosts sit at public lunch tables of about 8 to 12 people (senior centers, churches, NAM, Interfaith) or make a virtual visit on a device the guest already has.

What we will ask

- Can you keep a standing hour?

- Can you sit and listen?

- Are you willing to come back, not just visit once?

- If the visit is virtual, are you comfortable on a simple video call?

We will never ask you to bring, drop off, or deliver food. We will never ask you to place a device in someone's home.
